Virus Update

March, 2009 - There is a bad bug about that is jumping from flash drives to PC's in Katherine - It is not being picked up by most Antivirus software & needs manual removal. Are you infected or infecting the town?
At Computer Sales NT we are building a Virus Test Computer that you can have your Flash drive tested in to see if you are infected.

Febuary, 2009 - There are several new variants of a malicious software out that are tricking people to buy a virus removal product with a credit card online.

Many locals have already handed over their money to find themselves in the same situation with annoying pop ups, and a very slow & unsafe computer full of bugs.

Be careful what emails you open & what websites you visit.
If bitten, bring your PC to us.
Please do not attempt to conduct internet banking if you suspect your PC is infected. Several people in Katherine have allready had bank accounts fleeced.
